| What We Do |
| Therapeutic, sports and relaxation therapy are available alone, or in combination. We use unscented, all-natural oils and lotions. |
| |
Therapeutic Massage: |
| |
With a Registered Massage Therapist is both an art
and a science grounded in anatomy and physiology and applied with
a therapeutic purpose. We use a combination of Swedish techniques,
trigger point therapy, joint mobilization techniques, deep tissue
work, stretching and myofascial release, tailored to your specific
concerns. |
 |
| |
Sports Massage: |
| |
Sports massage techniques and knowledgeable advice
on stretching, strengthening and other self-care can be provided
at any point in your training, including pre and post-event, and
may help improve performance and recovery time. Your therapist may
also provide you with exercises, hydrotherapy (the use of heat and
cold) and other self-care strategies to complement your treatment. |

Relaxation Massage: |
| |
My therapist's professionalism and dedicated energy has made me a firm believer in massage therapy as a
medical treatment. The benefits far exceed many other treatments
I have tried and the relief from chronic pain is almost instant.

Often a full body massage, relaxation massage is lighter and more general than its therapeutic counterpart, and can be especially effective for stress management. This type of massage may help to offset the effects of chronic stress by inducing a physiological relaxation response, which may include such benefits as reduced heart rate and respiration, decreased muscle tension, increased blood flow, and improved sleep quality. |
